Welcome back to the Untamed Podcast. In this episode I chat with guest Lacey Tezino about her childhood, being raised in a white community, transracial adoption, death, talking race with children, traveling and more.
Lacey is a writer, mentor, adventurer, and public speaker who is passionate about encouraging young people to travel, fall in love with other cultures, and cultivate positive relationships. Through her work managing hospital projects, Lacey spent the last 3 years living in Doha, Qatar where she helped to digitize the health system for the entire nation and traveled the Middle East. Although she is passionate about her career, her calling to inspire others through transparent social media connection and speaking engagements is becoming more evident. Lacey is currently in the process of writing her first book, a memoir about being raised in a white community and growing into her own truth. She also facilitates dynamic conversations about racial equality for children. To learn more about Lacey visit her website at lhuckaby.com.
